Rod6Radio is an independent music project built around a simple idea: a great song is worth hearing, no matter how it was made.
I write and develop original songs across a wide range of genres—from country, rock and Americana to pop, electronic, hip-hop, worship and everything in between. I use AI tools, including Suno, as part of the creative process to help turn those ideas, lyrics and melodies into finished recordings.
And I’m not trying to hide that.
The voices you hear on Rod6Radio aren’t presented as fictional bands or artists. Some are male. Some are female. Some are gritty, some soulful, some heavy, some completely unexpected. They’re different voices serving different songs.
Rod6Radio is the common thread.
The goal isn’t to convince you that AI music is traditional music. It isn’t. It’s a new way of creating music—and I think that’s worth exploring openly.
http://Rod6Radio.com is being built as an alternative streaming destination for original AI-assisted music: a growing library where you can discover songs, build favorites, explore different genres and simply listen.
No pretending. No made-up backstories. No requirement that every song fit one artist, one voice or one genre.
Just songs. If you like one, turn it up. If you don’t, skip it. There are plenty more coming.
I also remain a musician and performer. A select group of Rod6Radio songs that fit my own voice, range and style may make their way from the digital world to the stage.
But Rod6Radio itself is bigger than one performer.
It’s an experiment in what happens when songwriting, human creativity and new technology collide—and a place for people who care more about how a song makes them feel than how it was made.
